Each of the dogs has their own unique personality: Jasper, whilst nearly 13-years-old, is chilled and always says ‘hi’; Maya now 9-yearsold is more serious but loves to have her nose rubbed; and Roo and Floyd are both active puppies that love to give cuddles to all.

Some say I’m friendly, maybe too friendly. Either way, I’ll still sprint over to anyone new I meet and try to give them a little lick! I never run out of energy, or space in my belly, so you’d better keep a close eye on anything you plan to snack on! Part-time loony, full-time good boy.

Bonnie – the Polish rescue
Bonnie is a young Chihuahua cross who went up for adoption on ‘Paw Help UK’ on Boxing Day. Paw Help rescues dogs from overseas and finds them loving homes over here in the UK. Little Bonnie has come all the
way from Poland as her owners couldn’t care for her anymore. We picked her up in the new year and she’s settled straight into our little family. She’s so friendly, playful and loving. She’s done so well learning to walk on her lead and is becoming a pro at giving her paw!

Archie is our one-brain-cell orange, who purrs like an engine, plays like a dinosaur, and acts like he’s been forced on a 24-hr fasting diet. He is a silly boy who looks for mayhem (and usually finds it!) but his ‘Romeo ways’ ensure he never actually gets in trouble.

Fortnum and Mason were unwanted kittens. They came to live with me aged 11 weeks. They are the perfect companion animals and family members. They instinctively support when they feel or sense emotional needs.

Nova
Please don’t be scared by Nova’s giant size! She is the most wonderful companion and guardian I could dream of. German Shepherds may look fierce, but they are so gentle and loyal. The perfect wellbeing reminder to take a break between meetings and go for a walk in the woods for some screen-free time. Whenever I have been on Teams or Zoom too long, Nova collects her lead and sits by the door looking at me expectantly! Dogs really are a person’s best friend.
